Welcome back to my silly time-lapsed videos! And to my second entry to the awesome #fff world! You may go and check that hashtag, you wont be disappointed... it's awesome!

For now, you gonna find the video only on my backup source, since d-tube just don't want to upload this video... eventually there is some YT coming to have it directly embedded, we'll see! :smirk: (I'm so not fan of that goolag alphabet site)

Anyway. Here comes the third strike in my series of DIY out of a kitchen - I'll present you today:

Sardines & Oignons Frits

"A Speciality from Istanbul"

(Normally the sardines are only turned in some flour, here I used some "old" tempura and added some onions to finish it all...)

  • 6 Sardines
  • Onions
  • Tempura
  • Olive Oil

Served with

Fried Pasta

  • Coquillette
  • Butter
  • Soy Sauce
  • Home Made Sweet Chilli Sauce

I use "only" organic grown ingredients, produced as local as possible! And while cooking I'm "always" listening to the Earfood Radio Eclectic on vimm.tv or greenhouse_radio_online

Looks pretty good and I like the way you present it time-lapsed and all. I feel a bit sorry for the sardines, but it's the circle of life right? 😃

Looks like my kitchen every night at dinner time. My husband and I have been in Greece for a month now and we noticed that everytime we go to a local tavern for a meal, most tables will have a plate of breaded, fried, grilled, or thrilled sardines to share. They always look fantastic. Happy food fight @mondoshawan!

Hehehe, nice. The only thing I remember from greek food is the mountains of meet on the plates, and the tzatziki... Happy travel time and thanks for the visit, read and comment! @puravidaville

We see that too but always opt for the fish or veggies plate. Don’t tell but we are also having our fair share of tzatziki being that we are in Greece and all. Okay, okay, the feta too 🥶

Mmmmh Feta, one of my favourites... and the Greek Style Yogurts are just heaven to me! Now I'm hungry and even a bit jealous :smirk:

Guess who's dizzy again after watching your video, nothing silly about that mr Mondoshawan! I just loooove Sardines, can just imagine the crunch of that batter and the flavours you've put together! Great entry!

Interesting post @mondoshawan, I never acquired a taste for sardines. Both my parents love them, and I know they are very healthy for you. Maybe I will give them another try.

Hehe, yeah their got a special taste... I put them for about one hour in vinegar water. That changes the whole thing a bit. Normally I prefer the mackerel but sold out that day! 😊 Thanks for the passing by @farm-mom!
